My second album, Lament Of The Golem is now availiable. The album is based on the myth of the Golem Of Prague. The Golem was a creature born to protect the jewish ghetto, given life by the word “emet” (truth) upon its head. The Golem would become violent if the first letter was not removed by Shabbat’s end to become the word “met” (death). After reading up on Jewish folklore as a general interest at the time, the metaphor of the Golem resonated with many themes I had in mind in creating a record. Namely the mysteries and folly of birth and creation, Anti-Natalism, and the growing dichotomy of Judaism itself (presented as “emet”) and the state of Israel (presented as “met”). All elements I hope in some way are meaningfully portrayed here. Movements: 1: “Emet” / Truth Sparks A Birth In Clay 2: Synetic Soliloquy 3: “Met” Defiance to Demise 4: Unforming into Ribbons for Gehenna Movements 1-3 recorded on a Moog Matriarch alongside other eurorack modules. Movement 4 is a Hebrew folk song recording that has been manipulated and played alongside a modular synthesiser. Big thanks to my wonderful assistant engineer @stillunlikely and another big thanks to @mixedbysasha for mastering it. This will be streamable and purchasable from my bandcamp. Hello, Happy New Year! In the spirit of change, renewal, and advancement, i‘ve put a new track out on my bandcamp. Collapsing Jackal Overture features a series of cascading granular delay feedback loops that have been automated with lfos to create a variety of textures and form the larger composition. This is the first of many new tracks that are going to feature some more polished experiments out of my backlog of works. I‘ll be dropping a few here and there before the whole compilation is out. My first record, Themes From Never is out next week on the 21st of September. This record was originally composed as a film score that will never see the light of day, all made on a modular synth. The original synth score has been warped and bastardised into something new, rearranged to mirror my experience in the last few months with hope and hopelessness, existence, and existentialism. This is arranged, mixed, and mastered by myself, my first venture into doing as such. The cover art is also by my design. New live show coming up on the 18th making my first appearance at Brighton‘s Cowley Club playing with the masterminds @valosarram and @songe.ambient Will be playing the hits and a couple new tracks in the modular set i‘ve been keen to play. Releasing next Friday, the first of the month of Lugh, the god of Light, Skills and Crafts: Wigan Man. An improvised and extemporised collection of five movements centred around the themes of isolation, silent destruction, the North of England and Theda Bara. The original recording was made in collaboration with my friend @apricitance featuring production and electronics help from @ainexwatson . It was then edited, overdubbed, mixed and mastered by myself one Hourglass. As previously announced there will be physical copies of this record made available over the course of the near future, both locally and online. You will find this release available only on Bandcamp, the best streaming service of a bad lot. If you enjoy this release please do consider purchasing! Hello, It’s been a minute. I’m happy to announce that i’ll be making my return to live performance on the 18th of July @waxingpink with the incredible @vi_o_let__ and @deaftapes for a night of live drone ambient music. My set in particularly will be recorded and eventually if all is well, put onto my bandcamp page. FREE ENTRY, however if you wish to donate to the performers at the show let myself or any of them know. Take a look at the records, food and drink at Pink Moon too, I can’t recommend them enough. My first collaborative record will be released with my good friend @apricitance in the next few weeks. This will be my first project to be available on physical media, very basic DIY CDs to be exact. More news to follow regarding this release. T x

Next week we will be hosting the wonderful @irreversible_music & @apricitance at Presuming Ed for a night of Ambient music. Irreversible is a 2 piece experimental ambient project, that is based in both Brighton and London. Born from a last minute addition in an art gallery, Irreversible combines improvisational piano with tape loops, samples and much more to create a powerful, cohesive, but ever changing sound.
