BIKINIWAX is a London born, queer DJ paying homage to her Dad’s love of wax. Her sets weave 90’s rhythms, soulful vocals, and bumpy tunes that bring real joy to the floor.
A member of Tokyo’s NEKO MAFIA, a queer- majority female collective, she works to diversify the city’s club scene. BIKINIWAX is also a resident at SOUNDS GOOD, an event celebrating POC and queer talent across Tokyo.
For BIKINIWAX, every set is a celebration of rhythm, play, and togetherness.
Big Nature founder ALF established themselves as a hip hop and soul selector before taking their love of soulful samples and groove heavy drums to club music. Although ALF currently lives in Sussex they’re most at home playing in Nottingham, the city that shaped their taste and inspired a love for mixing and promoting.
Comfortable across a wide range of tempos and genres, their sets blend hip hop, footwork, UKG, ballroom, house, and techno with acidy and disco flavours throughout.
