Today, @appus.cafe will be having the soft opening of their second location in East Long Beach near CSULB (2211A Palo Verde Ave). They’re a vegetarian and vegan Indian fusion cafe with their first location hidden in the back of a medical building off of Woodruff. It was one of those “if you know, you know” spots and it’s legitimately good. I’m a particular fan of their Maharaja Burrito which is comprised of the following:
Maharaja Burrito
This vegetarian burrito is stuffed with turmeric rice, mushroom masala, saag paneer, cheese, and their house sauce (Cali-Style with avocado and lettuce). It’s an extremely flavorful package with plenty of aromatics coming through with each bite. The mushrooms and the paneer break up the texture resulting in a very wholesome burrito experience.
