Our founder and CEO, Leah Hutcheon, took to the stage at AccelerateHER today, alongside Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes. Leah shared her journey from winning the very first AccelerateHER award a decade ago to leading Appointedd through years of ambitious growth and product evolution.
Leah spoke candidly about what it really takes to build and scale a company over the long term - the wins, the setbacks, and the resilience required to keep going when things get tough.
The next generation of founders brought bold ideas, sharp thinking, and serious ambition - the room was full of energy! The pitches were incredible and the calibre of talent coming through was spectacular.
A full-circle moment for Leah, and a powerful reminder of why backing female founders isn’t just important, it’s essential.

Over the past few days, Team Appointedd partnered with Victoria's Secret at their Bra Fit Bus in Birmingham - a retail activation designed to build momentum ahead of their much anticipated return to the city, with an amazing space giving them pride of place at the Bullring and Grand Central.
The results speak for themselves:
⭐ 400+ appointments booked.
⭐ 400+ delighted customers who had an awesome VIP bra fit experience, a personalised matcha or drink of their choice, and a VIP goody bag.
⭐ 100% declared intent - ahead of arrival or captured seamlessly on the day.
This wasn't just footfall. It was structured demand and delight!
A fully scheduled pipeline of customers who told us in advance they were coming, plus walk-ins intelligently converted into same-day bookings or future appointments when capacity was full.
And crucially, every interaction captured rich first-party and zero-party data, giving Victoria's Secret the foundation for a far more intelligent, personalised customer journey long after the bus doors closed.
That's the shift.
This wasn't "booking working well."
This was a retail activation powered by declared intent: demand made visible, measurable, and monetisable before, during, and after the experience.
Back-to-back fittings. Higher numbers and higher conversion. Stronger data, and a bus load of confidence, commercially and culturally!
