I’m a bit weary about posting something like this but hey ho.
“Leo & Lola” - draft one
Probably my favourite creative endeavour from 2025 and one I’m so eternally greatful for. A big challenge for me as I had never even seen a play before writing this (hence the awful formatting) but one that kinda knocked my brain into a much healthier space when it came to my writing. Thank you so much to the people of @redlinetheatre for believing in the vision and giving me a platform to share my first ever piece of writing publically. I’ve now learnt to not be my own worst enemy when it comes to my writing work and to take dives with my stuff and not be afraid to share with others (hence the post). This entire piece was written over the course of one day, with me writing all the notes whilst in work and then typing it up over the course of an hour and a half at night so I could meet the deadline with the guidelines of writing (a 10-20 minute long piece centred around mental health).
Also forever greatful to @lucietommo_@izzydecent and @actorcurtismccarthy - You guys breathed so much life into the piece and made me feel confident for the first time in my life when it came to my writing and I cannot wait to see what you all do next. Xxx
