Very long time, no post!!! It feels good to be getting back into the art world. I’m gonna be completely honest, my motivation to draw and produce art was kind of dead after graduation. Drawing would stress me out or frustrate me and it really killed my inspiration. It’s been tough trying to remind myself that for every good drawing, there’s 100 ugly drawings made before.
It’s been a while mental journey! In the meantime, you can find me at this year’s Lightbox Expo! I’m returning as a firefly and I’ll be frolicking around as well with business cards and potentially a block print for Day 3! I’m so excited to finally show to this to everyone! I made this over the course of 2022. I wanted to show the perspective of a barista with anxiety during a rush hour at her cafe. This was heavily inspired by my time working at Chimney Coffee House where u learned so much about making good coffee. Making coffee and espresso is a form of art, I tell ya!! See you tomorrow!
