Days around Asahikawa have been unreal.
Chasing the best powder with the crew, hiking up again and again to earn every single turn.
Sometimes, hiking is the only way to get it this good ❄️⛷️
We got lucky with a sunny day on the active volcano Mt. Asahidake. With so many people queuing for the gondola, we opted for a few hike-to runs around the volcano. Then, in the afternoon, we took the gondola and hiked up to the fumaroles. Finally, at the end of the day, we reunited with our friend @lukamalania_ , one of the best guides from our trip to Georgia.
