Happy birthday to the GOAT, the super-est man, the absolute most fun, hilarious, and handsome person of all time, and a guy who truly knows how to appreciate the art of filmmaking (by posing with promotional cardboard displays at the Americana).
Also, one time I threw away an Anthropologie gift card but realized it might still have money on it, so Dave fished it out of the trash. It did not have money on it.
I LOVE YOU, MDC! 💕💕💕
It’s here! Let us prepare you for Survivor 50!
Episodes dropping approximately every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until the premiere on Feb. 25! 🐍🐀🌴☀️🩳🏝️🌊🐍🍿
15 years ago, Justin Noble invited me to join his improv team and I, in turn, hired him to give my sketch comedy group notes — the job paid zero dollars, so it’s a good thing he’s the most generous person alive and agreed to do it. I had seen firsthand how funny and smart Justin was, and I had faith he’d be able to punch up our sketch where the joke was “what if someone says smagazine instead of magazine???” (He had no notes — it was a perfect sketch.)
Justin has only gotten more hilarious, kind, and talented since, and I’ve been so lucky to watch him work as a showrunner (and director!) for the past four years. All hail the Disney adult to end all Disney adults, the king of turkey chili, lego art, and tarot. His heart is as big as the Grinch’s heart at the *end* of the movie. Also, he does a great impression of the Grinch — ask him to do it for you!
A little bts from SLOCG s3e6. Every single actor in this ep is a national freaking treasure!!! And we’re so lucky to work with the best. Casting, costumes, hair, set dec, props, DP, camera crew, makeup, ADs, sound, script supervisor legend @susan.hoen and our awesome director @stevencanals — they all killed it. Second to last pic is a stand-in trying to be Dave’s height 💕💕🎃
I’m a few days late, but kinda like those bad people who celebrate their birthday for an entire month, I’ll be celebrating Season 3 of The Sex Lives of College Girls well into 2025.
Thanks to the incredible Mindy and Justin I’ve gotten to spend the past few years working with the most hilarious, Starbucks-loving, Wendy’s-ordering, lunch-wheel-spinning, table-read-applauding writers in the biz, as well as a supremely talented cast and crew!!! 💕💕💕
And if you haven’t watched last week’s premiere yet, what is wrong with you? New eps out on Max every Thursday!
It is with great sorrow that we announce the loss of our dog Dot.
Dot was the gentlest, sweetest, softest, most perfect dog. She had one white paw. She loved french fries and baby carrots, rolling around on top of dead bees, trying to take socks off people’s feet and, most of all, she loved to sleep.
She was indifferent to other dogs. More of a person-dog. And sometimes she would stop in her tracks until a rando on the street acknowledged how cute she was. She hated cats more than anything and whenever she saw one on a walk, she wanted to fight it, even though most cats are bigger and stronger than she was.
Dot traveled all over. She came to Vegas with us when we eloped and she got to meet our families in Denver, Seattle, and Salt Lake City. Dot saw more improv and sketch comedy than maybe any other dog ever — if you heard a small bark from the balcony at UCB Sunset, it was Dot responding to an onstage door knock. She even got to visit the Warner Brothers lot, which is cool because her namesake, Dot Warner, lives in the water tower there.
Infinite thanks to Nicole and Zach for finding a big, dirty squirrel in their front yard, that turned out to be a tiny, gray dog that needed a home. And thank you to Natasha for gifting us a JC Penney photo shoot earlier this year so we could pretend we won a dog show. Dot was and will always be #1. 💕🐾
Happy birthday to my day-one-ride-or-die, Dave. Thank you for being born and for dressing up as the Dolby screen advertisement with me on Halloween. Love u deeply. @hobbit138
