Pre - Launch Weekend at @thegovernorhousebyelgin , Amritsar - and what a way to begin. From the moment our guests arrived, every detail was thoughtfully considered. - Custom passports and boarding passes, - ⁠Refreshments waiting in the car, - ⁠personalised touches in the rooms from - initialled pillowcases to bathrobes and beautifully put together gift boxes. It was never just about the stay, but how it made you feel along the way. The days unfolded gently: - welcome lunch at @elgin_cafe at The Lord Elgin Bar, - ⁠a calming sound healing session at @bewell_wellnessjourney , - ⁠Followed by a traditional welcome into the Governor House. What followed was exactly what it should have been - great food, flowing conversations, drinks, and that unspoken ease when everything just comes together. Set in a restored heritage building, The Governor House carries an old-world charm that feels both intimate and quietly indulgent. Moody, elegant, and deeply rooted in Indian sensibilities - with a menu curated by @chefanujwadhawan that brought it all together beautifully. A visit to the Golden Temple added its own kind of stillness to the experience - grounding, and unforgettable. Built by @kavishkhurana and @shrutikhuranaa , this is a space that feels personal in every sense.
