The picture lock of @robertamaddalenabireau 's shortfilm is done. A lot of thought and excecution of the sound design and music has already been done by her.
@apogamism at @soundaroundstudio is looking to implement and refine some ideas as well deliver a stereo and 5.1 mix for the festival run!

We always prefer good location sound, but it's not always possible.
This was not a simple task, nor is the result perfect.
I find it impressive how far we can come with trial and error of modern audio software, but bear in mind that time is money, and an edit like this is not done without work and the tools of an experienced post team.

Wine Plum, a medium length film shot in Vietnam
After a month of remote work on the film of the talented director @nano.ngtran it's exciting to finally be back in the @soundaroundstudio
Its a very atmospheric film with beautiful pictures and an almost constant heavy rain.
Until now it has been edited completely on headphones on a very minimal setup.
Now its time to:
- Listen on speakers
- Add surround atmos
- Creative sound design.
Keep an eye on her work, I think we will see more in the future!

Carlos Joffre do Amaral installed loudspeakers in what became @radioclubelages in 1942.
They make a loud siren sound at 8am, 12pm, 2pm and at 6pm. Something that helps organize the city.
I gave a try how well SpectraLayers by @steinbergmedia could handle voice separation.
