What happens when you buy an old home that was flipped & had been a victim of the landlord special? Well you of course do what any person with an appreciation for old things, interior design, & giving things the love they deserve, would do. And you unflip it!!!
Buying, renovating, & restoring our 1930s cottage has been one of the most challenging things weâve ever done. We have spent countless weeks laboring over projects, deciding whatâs best for the home, & pouring our hard earned money into returning it back to its former glory⌠and this is what thatâs looked like for the last 2 years!
Being human is inherently political in a world that continuously shows us itâd rather we didnât exist at all, but if we do, we have to be as small & meek as possible.
A little reintroduction for those who are new here or for those who have been here for sometime but still have yet to know my storyđ¤

A corner of the internet carved out for the sensitive, introverted souls. For those of us who feel most like ourselves when we stare up at the towering trees in a forest. Who yearn to create tiny beautiful things as a form of resistance. Who spend their lives in pursuit of healing their inner child & discovering who they are outside of the noise. Who care deeply about living an existence full of intention, empathy, creativity, & compassion.

Itâs in the little things. The way the sunlight flickers through the branches swaying in the breeze, in the steam rising from a mug, in the first poppy that unfurls, in a pile of laundry collecting on a chair, in the winding dirt road that slips by on a drive.
That is where I find the most magicđ¤

A long drive up the valley always leads to a quiet chilly morning at the flower farm where I of course must gently wake up the bees sleeping amongst the petals, toss a few scraps to the hens, & start the day slowly surrounded by small living things
