What role can Asian innovation play in solving global challenges?
APF’s Executive Director, Mosun Layode, will be speaking at the Philanthropy Asia Summit 2026 in Singapore (18–20 May), sharing how global philanthropic networks can better connect local insight with coordinated action to direct resources where they’re needed most.

Rather than simply increasing funding, the conversation is about fundamentally rebalancing systems that have historically concentrated decision-making and resources outside the continent. It highlights the need for greater African agency, more equitable financial structures, and recognition of local knowledge, indigenous giving systems, and domestic sources of capital as central—not secondary—to development finance.
