An impeccable, incomparable family of exceptional artists across multiple disciples converged at a given space time to channel The Spirit in ways that can barely be described. The family have said it “it was not a performance, it was living culture on stage”, “felt like a Malcom X speech”, “completely defied categorisation, “fuelled me with a sense of awe”, “felt like home”…and I can’t thank EVERYONE involved, EVERYONE who came enough. Faris Ishaq (@farisishaq.music ) is a Palestinian Nay master, composer and improviser carrying one of the world’s oldest instruments into entirely new spaces.
Dating back over 5000 years, the ney has long been a vessel for meditation, storytelling and spiritual expression across the Middle East. In Faris’ hands, its haunting sound becomes both deeply rooted and radically contemporary — bridging Palestinian musical heritage with jazz, folk influence and fearless improvisation.

Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos 💪🏾💫
Marlon Hibbert (@marlonthepannist ) is one of the UK’s leading steel pan virtuosos — an artist pushing the instrument beyond expectation while staying deeply connected to its roots.
The steel pan is far more than a musical instrument. Born in 1930s Trinidad, its creation transformed discarded industrial waste into a symbol of resilience, resistance and cultural identity. Developed in response to colonial bans on African drums and later tamboo bamboo, it remains the only new acoustic instrument invented in the 20th century.
That spirit lives in the music.
Blending technical mastery with soul, rhythm and improvisation, Marlon brings a sound that lifts the room and shifts the energy in real time.
