Here’s how I found my people in NYC ❤️
I didn’t expect volunteering to turn into a community, but that’s exactly what happened.
What started as volunteering at @apexforyouth turned into me getting more involved, and now I am part of the @apex.associateboard . 🫶
I found friendships in the in-between moments: book clubs, group runs, food outings – all while showing up for Asian American youth and growing alongside them.
And now, we’re growing. 👀
In Brooklyn, the need is real. We’re looking for 45 more volunteers to support 70 youth in our Elementary Explorers program.
