Hi, I’m Nicole. I’m the type of person who loves connection, the kind of human people feel comfortable spilling their whole story to when they first meet me. I am warm, intentional, and creative, but I also love to dream big and have fun along the way. Most of the time my hair is straight, so when you see these curls it’s a rare glimpse of the part of me that feels a little freer and a little playful. If you are into horoscopes, i’m a cancer through and through. I recharge by the ocean, get inspired on long road trips, and love exploring new places with my husband and our dog, Opie, especially if there is good food involved. I am thoughtful, calm, and grounded, and I try to bring that energy into everything I do. When I let my guard down I can be fun, silly and playful. I want people to feel safe, seen, and understood when they’re around me, and I hope this little imperfect photo of me captures just a hint of who I really am and the energy and space I hold as a human and throughout my business. One of my favorite parts of this day was the way they chose to walk in together. No big reveal, no one waiting at the end of the aisle, just the two of them side by side, stepping into this moment as a team. It felt so natural and so them. You could see the nerves, the excitement, and the quiet comfort they gave each other with every step down. Like a little reminder that they didn’t have to do any of this alone. There was something really grounding about it. It didn’t feel like the start of something new as much as it felt like a continuation of everything they’ve already built together. Choosing each other in real time, in front of everyone who loves them, without any pressure to follow tradition if it didn’t feel right. Just two people saying we’re in this together from the very beginning. Moments like this are the ones that stick with you. Not because they’re perfectly planned or expected, but because they’re honest. And this one felt really honest. an ode to my last retreat because my next one is literally next week 🥳🤩😭 There’s something really special about seeing an idea exist outside of your head. At first it’s just a thought, a quiet little what if that doesn’t fully make sense yet. It lives in notes, saved photos, random bursts of inspiration that come and go. And if I’m being honest, sometimes it changes along the way. Plans shift, details fall through, things don’t line up how you imagined and you have to pivot more than you expected. But that doesn’t mean it’s falling apart. Sometimes it means it’s becoming what it was actually meant to be. This started as one vision and slowly turned into something a little different, but somehow it still came together in a way that feels right. That in between part is something people don’t always see. The adjusting, the problem solving, the quiet moments where you’re wondering if it’s all going to work out. And then suddenly it does. Seeing it go from a mockup to something real you can stand in and experience is the kind of feeling that reminds me why I love doing this. Not because everything goes perfectly, because it never does, but because bringing something to life is always worth it, even when it looks different than how it started. Honestly, especially when it does. If you’re in a season where things aren’t going exactly how you planned, keep going. I always tell my brides I’m a type B planner… which basically means I’m never measuring where the plates line up with the cups or obsessing over tiny millimeters. But here’s the thing—while I’m relaxed about the rules, I still notice when something feels off. Like this little tipped candle trying to throw off the whole tablescape… yes, I zoomed in, yes, I fixed it, and yes, I may have giggled a little while doing it 😂 It’s a funny little behind-the-scenes moment, but it’s also exactly what I do: I care about how everything feels. The perfect lighting, the cozy vibe, the way each piece comes together—it’s not about being rigid, it’s about making the space feel like you and your vision. So while I’m definitely type B and not measuring every plate to a T, I will always quietly sweep through, notice what’s off, and make it shine.
