Almost 5 years ago doctors advised my family to find a good assisted living facility so I could live my life comfortably. This week I flew solo to Australia to meet my family for a wedding. Life is what you make it💯🙏🏿 #blessed
This birthday was special. Not only did I get to enjoy my annual cookout surrounded by my closest friends, neighbors, and family, but it also marks a profound personal milestone.
At 35, I felt like I was 85—like my best years were behind me and it was time to give up on my dreams. But today, at 40, I feel like I’ve aged backwards. I’m stronger, happier and more locked in than ever before. It’s as if life has given me a second wind, and I know the best is yet to come.
Thank you to everyone who’s been holding me down on this journey. Here’s to living life to the fullest and embracing all the blessings yet to unfold. #blessed
