I finished reading Sinner by Sierra Simone yesterday. I was going to write a review but I felt like I actually needed to talk this one through. It's totally on the fly and probably sounds like a stream of consciousness. But it was helpful for me. Especially today. #flashbackfriday to meeting THE @jonlindstrom during his tour for his second book Hollywood Payback. Been a fan of his for awhile watching him as twin brothers Kevin and Ryan on General Hospital. And I'm currently enjoying his role as Joey Armstrong on Beyond the Gates. I've been wanting to meet him for awhile. When I heard he would be at @vromansbookstore in Pasadena which is not far, I couldn't pass it up! 😊 It was a lot of fun listening to his Q&A with his former GH costar Michael Easton. 📘 Book Review 📘 Title: All Fall Down Author: Santana Blair Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thoughts: Santana Blair has quickly become another favorite author for me. All Fall Down was such a sweet story. It was also a story about redemption and finding your place in the world when you feel like an outsider. Liam's character growth was so well written. I could truly feel how much he changed throughout the story. There were a lot of light-hearted moments but also some heavy ones. Something I have to acknowledge was the way Santana handled what Mercedes was going through. Even though it was a tough subject she did it with care. I didn't expect to get so emotional reading this story but I did. And of course there was that natural build-up of romantic tension I enjoy so much. Liam and Mercedes had a lot to work through in their lives but they were similar in a lot of ways. They were both looking for happiness in their lives and as a good HEA goes, they eventually found it in each other. ☺️🩵 ##bookstagram #BookReview

Actually my brain while reading Chrysalis because WOW! WOW! I am totally speechless after reading this book. It was fantastic! An absolute page-turner from start to finish. I felt like I was watching a movie as I read this story. It had so many twists. And I LOVED the thriller aspect of it. My jaw literally dropped! I laughed, I CRIED, Yelled "WTF!" quite a few times. B.B.'s brain is 🤯 the stuff she comes up with I- I have no words! Whew! What a story!!!

📗 Book Review 📗 Title: But A Dream Author: Santana Blair Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thoughts: My second Santana Blair book and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed reading Jonas and Charleigh's story. I love Santana's writing and how eloquent it is. I highlighted too many quotes to count. I also loved the way she nailed the twin bond between Elijah and Jonas. That was one of my favorite things because I'm a twin. 😁 My only issue with this story was though it had some conflict, I don't think we saw enough of it. And we never saw Jonas or Charleigh both come face to face with her parents. I think we needed that moment. Charleigh and Jonas both have a lot of growth in the story so I think this would have been a great moment to show them as a united front. Also, while I did feel the tension, I would've loved to have more time with Jonas and Charleigh. Because their breakup came at the start, I felt the stuff with them finding their way back to each other should've been longer and I wanted more time for them to be with each other. Despite this, it really was a good story. #bibliophile #bookstagram #Booknerd

I feel like they balanced each other out. The story kept me guessing and there was an unexpected person that literally made my jaw drop. I LOVE surprises like that one.
