📸 Learn more about our member spotlight: Steph Heath
One of Steph’s favorite recent projects was working with Rae and the Ragdolls, a band she describes as an absolute dream to collaborate with. Their strong identity and sound made it incredibly rewarding to create visuals that reflected their music and personality.
When photographing portraits, Steph often begins with a loose narrative to help guide her subjects while leaving room for interpretation and spontaneity. At concerts, she’s constantly moving — chasing those playful, impactful moments where the energy feels real and alive.
Fun fact: Steph may be small, but she shows up with big energy and an even bigger creative vision.
Favorite post-shoot snack? Fruit salad or a protein bar 🍓✨

📸 APA Atlanta Member Spotlight: Steph Heath
Steph first got her start in photography by capturing concerts on her phone, drawn in by the energy, lights, and atmosphere of live music. That curiosity quickly turned into a passion, leading her to pick up a camera and dive into concert photography.
Today, Steph specializes in concerts, editorial, portraits, and experiential events — creating images that feel expressive, energetic, and authentic. What inspires her most is the opportunity to capture joy, movement, and those fleeting moments people may not even realize are happening.
Stay tuned this week to learn more about Steph’s creative process and the work shaping her journey! ✨
