An IAS officer built Arivagam here —
a space where village students prepare for TNPSC.
No fees. No conditions.
For the past 4 years,
nearly 1000 students walk in every summer
and walk out with something more than just lessons.
You can see it in the way they sit,
the way they listen,
the way they carry themselves.
We often talk about impact like it’s a big word.
But sometimes, it looks like this.

Everyone told me to pick one.
“You can’t do everything. Choose a lane. Stick to it.”
But I couldn’t.
Not because I was confused — but because every genre called me differently. Weddings taught me to feel. Wildlife taught me to wait. Streets taught me to see. Celebrities taught me to be invisible. Documentary taught me to listen.
And then the travel started. Miles turned into frames. Strangers turned into stories. Places turned into perspectives I never planned for.
I didn’t choose a lane. I chose the whole road.
Years passed. The work kept changing. The camera stayed the same. And somewhere along the way — what felt like my weakness became my biggest strength.
My people trusted me with every kind of moment. And I never once regretted saying yes.
Still don’t.

Creative block isn’t always because you ran out of ideas.
Sometimes it’s because you consumed too much.
Too many reels.
Too many “perfect” works.
Too many opinions on how things should be done.
Your mind gets full… but not clear.
And then you sit to create —
you scroll, you walk, you start something, stop midway…
and call it “creative block”.
But maybe it’s just overload.
What’s helping me lately:
– Picking one thing and starting… before my mind complicates it
– Creating before consuming
– Sitting with boredom (that’s where ideas start)
– Not chasing perfection, just finishing something
– Accepting that not every day will feel creative
Creative block or not… I’m still showing up.
