POV: your matcha obsession just got to the next level 🍵💚 @aokomatcha is one of the prettiest matcha spots I’ve been to lately. Everything feels so clean, calm, and aesthetic — literally every shade of green.
We tried the Matcha Love Parfait, Matcha Coconut Cloud, and Taro Affogato. The parfait was definitely the star for me with soft serve, chewy mochi, red bean, and layers of matcha goodness in every bite. The coconut cloud was super refreshing and creamy, while the taro affogato had the perfect balance of earthy matcha and rich espresso.
If you love matcha desserts, soft serve, and cute cafe vibes, this spot deserves a visit

Located right next to @kyuramen.cherryhill , they’re serving some delicious Matcha drinks, float’s & parfaits! They offer level 1-8 Matcha, including their ice cream. They also have a yuzu sorbet that looked incredible! I ordered the level 3 matcha float which was a matcha frappe that included a scoop of ice cream, mochi and chocolates on top! Highly recommend that drink option! Their matcha is high quality and I definitely recommend trying something out of your comfort zone when you go! Please keep in mind they are soft opening so they do not have their full menu available at this time.

I never got a chance to try the full spectrum of Matcha gelato when I was in Japan, so I’m so glad it came here. I’d say it already starts to get bitter at level 3 but the matcha flavor is definitely strong so perfect for matcha lovers 🍵 There’s a couple locations in Manhattan but this is the first in Queens.

This is truly a matcha lovers personal fantasy, with the five different levels of matcha strength on their ice cream I knew it would be real. I would suggest getting the matcha half sweet!
