Hey Fugazi released an alternate set of recordings of ‘In on the Kill Taker,’ so I wrote a little bit about getting older and listening to three different versions of my favourite song (“Sweet and Low,” obviously). Link in bio.
A DIFFICULT AND NARROW SPACE (MAR 2026) • Just over an hour of ambient +/- experimental sounds plus some lamentations for the sorry state of the organized left during the apocalypse. Link in bio.

AS IN ENGINES (DEC 2025) • An hour of recently-released and mostly pretty serene ambient/drone, and a bit of writing about what “direct action” isn’t. Link in bio.
Is it true that pics of faces make the robots happier? In any case, here’s a little roundup of music writing I put out this year. As you’ll see, I’m still working out how to do this thing - and for real, fire away if you’ve got feedback! - but it’s really been a privilege to get to spend time thinking with/about such incredible work, and I’m feeling pretty grateful. More on the way.

THREE FAVOURITES OF 2025:
.
VULTURE FEATHER, ‘It Will Be Like Now’: Life-affirming minimalist post-punk from Northern California with roots in 90s emocore (members of Don Martin Three!!). Heartfelt and earnest but never cloying, driving and passionate but never overwrought.
.
POSTCARDS, ‘Ripe’: A ferocious and acerbic blast of gritty post-punk from the longstanding Beirut trio, animated by the grief and rage of living through our dystopian present. Blonde Redhead meets the Wipers, maybe?
.
IDA URD & INGRI HØYLAND, ‘Duvet’: Gestural yet ornately textured, emotionally engaging ambient soundscapes from the Danish/Norwegian duo. It’s dreamy and serene but far from a passive listen, punctuated as it is with subtle tension and an exploratory drive.
THE FIRES THAT FENCE IN THE WORLD (NOV 2025) • Some free jazz and post-rock adjacent tunes, a couple of book recommendations, and a little bit about the unnameability of depression. Link in bio.
ON INTERREGNA (SEPT 2025) • In the spirit of slowing the fkk down to get a better look at things (if only for a moment), the mix this time is mostly in the ponderous ambient mode: it’s not meant to be a passive listen, but it wouldn’t be entirely inappropriate to drift off to.
CHANGE OF STATE (AUG 2025) • The mix this time around is once again fairly beats-forward (if not exactly dance-ready), dipping into some relatively more abrasive territory for a spell before the rhythms pick back up again for the latter third. Fkn free Palestine.
