hello :) i am not going to use this account for the future. i have made a private account for friends, to post about my life and personal artwork/music
i don’t think it is surprising if you know me in real life to learn i have been really struggling to enjoy performing as “Anyone’s Ghost” lately. i don’t know what that is, some sort of latent response to the last few years, or just anxiety i can’t evade anymore, but for now, outside of one (as yet unannounced) commitment i already made, i don’t have any upcoming headline shows planned or intentions to make more music as Anyone’s Ghost. that’s not to say there won’t be music in some form, as realistically i love writing, and sharing those songs at open mics and to people i love, but being centred at a headline show is so deeply unenjoyable to me right now. i love collaborating with my friends, especially michael and max who have been at the whole heart of this project and deserve the WORLD (please support their solo projects! @mchlwbstr@eyammusic ), i love opening for artists doing interesting and engaging things. i don’t want to begin to resent the experience, so i’m going to stop playing shows and making music as “Anyone’s Ghost” for now. i need to figure out how to keep making music in a way that feels good and enjoyable, so for now, i am closing this project like a well loved book and thinking about how to write the next one. thankyou to all who have ever supported and come to watch me perform :)

it’s been a while since the last AG headline and i’m not really sure what i’m going to do yet. things i can confirm: @eyammusic will wear his little hat. @mchlwbstr will use about 50 guitar pedals. i will probably play the songs i’ve been working on post-necromancer, probably cry a bit, probably scream some more. resentment exhalation in the form of loud music

reflecting on 2023– I bought a house this year! 💒 when I was a child, I would walk past this farm cottage in the woods and wonder who lived here, and now it is me, and a million setlists and plush bunnies. I also got my dream job as a writer&editor in the heritage/museum/government/law/? sector this year and it’s been the magic fulfilment of a longtime wish. more good things in 2024 I hope 🍂🌲⭐️ happy holidays all ♥️
