Last night on @paltielpaltiel ’s and my eighth anniversary, our favorite evening itinerary had a bit of a different twist 💍🥹 Love is an action and last night was action-packed. It was full of freezing surprise hugs, special permission champagne toasts, unexpected harmonica solos and more love than Ben or I could have imagined as we celebrated with the beloved friends that have sustained us as we have grown up together over the last eight years. We are the luckiest, happiest, hoarsest people in Brooklyn today and we can’t wait to share this next chapter of love with everyone that has loved us so well ❤️ Ps: swipe to the end for a manifestation jump scare (I take commissions, my hit rate is seemingly high)

This morning we said goodbye to my beloved grandfather Perry Jeffe. He was my first champion, my tireless teacher, my favorite storyteller, and my best friend. It is two months shy of his 98th birthday today and I still feel like there was not and never could have been enough time with him. My grandfather taught me that the world was something to be discovered, a canvas of inspiration to be answered with creation. Indeed, there was seemingly no medium that he could not bend to his will. Art, music, theater, literature, technology, architecture and design — he did it all and nurtured that same spark in his children and grandchildren. For those that knew and loved him he seemed perpetual, and I cannot think of a world that he is not part of, methodically imagining, recording its machinations and sharing his curiosities. To be raised, supported and loved by such a good and gracious man has made an indelible mark on me that I will carry for the rest of my life. If you had the pleasure of meeting my grandfather, you know that he was one in a million, and if you didn’t have the chance, know that any good, kind, and thoughtful parts of me are just another example of his handiwork. I will strive forever to be worthy of it. Rest Easy, my darling one ❤️
