Anya Gupta is an individual artist / designer, currently working at lighting designer at Ravenhill Studio.
"Originally from India, I am now a Singaporean citizen who has lived in Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Turkey and the United States. I have always drawn from the diverse beauty of my surrounding cultural environments. My design style (in a few words) is maximalist and highly intricate, but, within that, I alway try to maintain an emphasis on the delicate. From what may seem a “hodgepodge” of styles and ideas, I find my personal background and vision guide these different aspects to function cohesively within the context of my work. Whether it be art, design or furniture: to me, dissonance can ultimately be harmony." @anyagups
