So I reckon it’s time for a 67 appreciation post - I joined the amazing team at @67pallmallsg in April and basically have not looked back. Their generosity in spirit, to their staff and to their craft have been nothing short of impressive. Wine is not just a beverage it’s truly a science and an art. I guess I’m privileged to learn about it all and from the best. Thanks @francescaway for convincing me to join those months back, you da hostess w the mostest and I owe you big time. Also, ironic much but I think I’ve developed my first food intolerance and it’s to wine!!! Well, I’ll just keep chugging on…

Today I think about mothering. I think about my mother. Her mother. The women who raised me. Gave me an education. Fought for me. Fought anyone who tried to hurt me or question me. Disciplined me. I think about mothers everywhere. Their pain. Their burden. I don’t think about me. I think about mothering. How it intensifies, every minute, every second. It makes you understand fear, it makes you fear loss - a loss that would feel so deep. It makes you feel gratitude. So thank you for the women in my life, and my daughter and the first time I saw her. And all of the things I hope I can teach her.
Happy 4th birthday my rambunctious kid. Stay OTT. Thanks for teaching me new levels of love and care. To many more beach bum birthdays together. X
