On this day one year ago I had an accident on my way back from rehearsal and I broke my leg. I was all teary and scared when I was told by the doctor that I’ll be undergoing surgery, the thought of loosing control over the little things that that we often take for granted like walking, moving freely, using the bathroom- was humbling. It was a trying period for me full of so much pain, funny imaginations, full of frustration, full of strength, full of love, full of faith in God. He held my hands and saw me through. To my doctors, thank you for your skills and patience. To my irreplaceable Father, my ever present brother and my extended family , my friends who visited, called and messaged, my colleagues at work, FOTAajah- Thank you, you all showed up for me in various ways ❤️Your strength became mine. #God’sfavourite #HealingwithGod’smercy Jesus

With so many emotions, I couldn’t bring myself to pen down memories about you. I remember that fateful day 9th of october 2011 when I was told the tragic news of your exit out of this world. It’s been 14years now and year in year out I mourn each time I remember this day and every other day your memory fill my heart or I crave for our pet talks. October 9 is a date and day I can never forget, remembering you every other day with me saying the word “ I wish you were here”. Life has brought so many things my way that all I needed at those times is your warm hug, prayers and cheers. The joy and confidence I have is that you are resting at the bosom of your father. I celebrate you cos of the life you lived and blessing you were to us when you were on earth. Thank you for showing me the one true way which is knowing Christ and I have so much confidence that I will see you again. I miss you so much mum, I have grown to be that strong woman you’ve always wanted me to be. I remember you today and always Iya Anu. Am doing my best to make you proud of me. Till we meet to part no more mum, keep resting omo Kehinde, Oluwatosin, Mummy kay as some people call you, Iya Anuoluwapo, Iya Sogo. Sun re oooooo
