I'm thrilled to announce my second solo exhibition at The Third Line gallery. ‘Mirror Ball’ opens Thursday 6th April, 8pm ✨ 'Mirror Ball’ Anuar Khalifi 6th April – 19th May 2023 Opening reception: 6th April 2023 8 pm to 10 pm 📍The Third Line The exhibition, titled 'Mirror Ball', will debut a unique sculpture together with a series of richly detailed and vibrant paintings that continue the artist’s ongoing exploration into the complexities of personal identity and the experience of living between two worlds, both seen and unseen. In parallel with the opening of 'Mirror Ball', we are pleased to announce the regional film premiere of, Part of Me - Anuar Khalifi by yasiin bey. Directed by Jordi Esgleas Marroi @jmarroi , this is the story of the appreciation, respect and fondness of musician, actor and activist yasiin bey for Anuar Khalifi. yasiin reflects on the cultural, ethnic and religious issues present in Khalifi’s work while sharing his thoughts candidly and providing his very personal take on his friend’s art and life in general. 📆 Friday, 7th April 2023 10pm The Yard, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai This film screening is hosted in partnership with Alserkal and Cinema Akil and will be followed by a Q&A with Anuar Khalifi moderated by Sunny Rahbar, co-founder of The Third Line.
