The day started with wind holds and mountain ops cancelling the event. But lead organizer @gabicroto
pivoted to a sheltered Backcountry trail head that was perfect.
Inspired by the Last Skier Standing format, athletes skied a mile loop every 30 min. Finalists completed 14 miles of ski touring and ended with a time trial sprint to break a tie!
All the badass women who competed were so inspiring and huge props to @chicksoncliffs for pulling it off through all the twists and turns!
Anu brought the pancakes and cashmere 😂. Can't wait to do something like this again!
