We’re fortunate to have incredible produce grown right here in the UK. Throughout every season an abundance of delicious fruit and vegetables is available. It’s the freshest you can get and, in the case of small-scale growers like Sophie especially, it’s grown in soil that is loved and cared for. Soil brimming with life on plots rich in diversity.
This short film celebrates Sophie and her passion for providing her local community with high quality produce. It’s a celebration of just how tasty our food is when we eat seasonally and buy locally.

Wintering at @inverlonan — A short film capturing our unhurried, gentle days tending to fires, (very) brief dips in Loch Nell and hearty meals cooked from ingredients grown and reared mere miles away. Thanks to Lupi and the team for taking such good care of us 🧦
Between moor and sea loch sits Borradill, an ancient woodland. Perched there is a cosy haven, thoughtfully designed by @mookerjee_design . Much more to share of this enchanting home and landscape but for now, some 35mm photographs that give a glimpse into our stay here.
Please note that this short film is about grief.
Last month, we lost our Dad to colon cancer. It had been a year of aggressive treatment and physical decline. Knowing the end was near, my siblings and I came together to support our Mum with his end of life care. We made the decision to keep him at home, which sits within the rolling hills of the Gers. On a clear day, you can see the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees from the front door.
On July the 2nd 2025, he passed away in his bed with all of us by his side. I know how lucky we were for that, to be able to say goodbye is a privilege many are not given.
These are some of the memories stitched together from the summer we lost our Dad, the summer that our Mum lost the love of her life. But a summer where, as a family, we came together in ways that will always astound me. In our care for him we saw the very rawness of what it is to be human and what it is to love.
If you or someone you know is experiencing unusual symptoms please get checked and be persistent. Catching cancer early can in some cases, make all the difference.
With the deepest gratitude to @finnegantui and @eywamusicuk for the music 🤍
