a node is never still: it’s where cultures collide, where music travels in both directions, where mistakes become signals and noise becomes rhythm.
just like the label itself, it’s not about polished surfaces, but about exchange. East ↔ West, order ↔ disorder, machine ↔ emotion.
every detail is a trace of movement, a record of a crossing. a reminder that imperfection is not an error, but the start of something new.
we started working on this collab a year ago - sketching, testing, scrapping, rebuilding. now it’s here.
MODDED SOCIETY is a system of pieces shaped by distortion, function, and future tension: acetate + titanium eyewear; a stainless steel pendant; a brown tee with a graphic tool-glyph that doesn’t explain itself.

Logo, visual identity, motion and graphic system for the Hong Kong-based record label Nodes Records. The label’s main purpose is to break the typical order of European music being imported to Asia, and to introduce and support the local music scene.
A node is an intersection where exchanges take place; the melting point of cultures. It’s the heart of transportation routes, import and export, the point of exchange. The visual language is the mix of Asian and European elements and typography with a clear navigational and technical touch — clean, but at the same time embracing imperfection, “feature-not-a-bug” approach and experimentation, reflecting the philosophy of the label.

I can finally show you a few new spreads of my zine. Mirrors & Mazes is a metaphorical tale of existential crises, self-discovery, and the pursuit of truth. This zine is my way of processing the chaos of our times and finding clarity in the questions themselves. It’s a story inspired by living through a time of uncertainty, displacement, and resilience. For me, Theo’s journey mirrors our shared search for light in the labyrinth of life.
