Back from the hack.
Thought I wanted to post something nice that happened in London last month.
It is too this date, one of the most fun and challenging projects I've been involved in.
Marius Neset's fourth composition ("CHANGES") for the London Sinfonietta, this time written for 7 musicians, with no bass instrument included, which was one of the challenges apart from expanding my normal set up with some classical percussion (2 timpanis, gran casa, glockenspiel, roto toms and triangle).
This piece was premiered at Queen Elizabeth Hall on November 20 and was recorded live. We’ll be performing it again in 🇳🇴 at these locations next year:
• Oslo ♡ January 29
• Harstad ♤ January 30
• Tromsø ♧ January 31
