With that said, as a creative, you’re probably asking yourself “how will I pivot so I make sure I can still feed my family”?
Because think about it, if music is no longer the product and more of a commercial, what are you really selling?
It’s the end of a much needed predatory relationship with the culture and it’s bittersweet to see it go. Like when your abuser finally moves out and on with their lives, there’s still a part of you that wishes things were still the same (Stockholm syndrome).
Well embrace it yall, things have changed forever. The old label owners have gotten too old, sold all the way out and moved on to AI investments. Now it’s time for the CULTURE to pick up the pieces and forge a new world ahead.

NOAH-O x YEN : Live in Munich.
I connected with YEN over MySpace and did a feature for him back in 2009. From this working relationship we developed a friendship. In 2016 he visited the USA and wanted to come to Richmond, Virginia to shoot the video but it didn’t work out. He offered to pay me to come to NYC and I told him if you are willing to do all that I’ll come to Europe instead.
In 2017 he helped me set up my first European Tour. He did everything from setting me up shows, interviews, making sure I had a place to stay and let me drive his car on the Autobahn. We even got the car towed in Paris but that’s another story.
