Yup, making you all look at this again. I just wanted to redo some details on it that you probably won't even notice, but my ocd brain won't let me live without fixing. The original drawing looks fine in my head. I just always lose the details of it when I scan it. Actually really proud of this one now with all those details added and those little annoying things removed.

It came as a complete shock yesterday when I heard that Sam Kieth passed away. I was hugely inspired by his work specifically what he did on The Maxx, such a unique and creative story. What I loved about him most was his boldness to try new things with each project he worked on. He will always be remembered by me and all the other artists who he has touched with his art.
Here are two fan drawings I did for The Maxx, one was something I did last year and the other one is a quick lasso tool sketch I did in ps. Drawing him again made remember how cool his work was, looking back on his old drawings and comic pages I just get with the same inspiration I got years ago when I first came across some old issues of The Maxx from my local comic store.

The Trail is a short film about a woman who encounters a mysterious creature on the nature trail she walks every day. The creature offers her a life-changing choice. While it tempts her with the promise of an unknown future, she must also confront the part of herself that wants to remain on the familiar path she’s followed for so long. Torn between both options, she struggles to decide which uncertain future to pursue.

An Anatomy of Grief has been doing well during its festival run. So far it has played in four other theatres since its initial premiere and has won two awards. All of this cannot have been done if not for our amazing crew and cast as well as our school professors who helped us develop the film from pre- to post- production. We are eternally grateful!

Doodles from today. The guy with the droopy skin is me if I became a sumo wrestler and then lost my weight, and now I have blankets hanging from my body for my loved ones to use. The creatures are ideas for my comic and sonic is there.
