Haven’t posted anything substantial in a while, not sure why.. really been in a weird spot for a while. I want to get back to me tho, to what makes me happy, what inspires me, excites me, keeps me alive. Been caring about what other people want,think,need for too long. Been giving the wrong things energy & attention. It’s made me un relatable, unresponsive, apathetic. I want to create and share said creations with people that actually fuck with me and it. To who I’m not disposable. I’ve been taking photos around this continent for the past few years, just stacking up thousands on thousands of photographs (that are pretty bomb tbh) and just don’t do anything with them. Just let them take up virtual space on chips and data to die and collect digital dust. I wanna share them. I’m gonna try. This one I took in Seattle, of a sculpture by American glass artist Dale Chihuly. It was striking.

In honor of #indigenouspeoplesday I wanted to share this illustration I created a while back of a Raramuri Boy celebrating Semana Santa. The Raramuri, who are sometimes wrongly identified as “Tarahumara” for the the Sierra Tarahumara in which they live refer to themselves as Rarámuri, which in their language means "those who run fast" and they do! Hella respect to this beautiful people who come from my home state of Chihuahua.
