Just wrapped up an amazing day at @marthastewart48 ‘s farm. Can’t thank you and your team enough for the time, effort and thought that went into planning a full day of learning, laughing and experiencing “good things”!
Back at The Bedford for lunch, and just as memorable as dinner last week. We couldn’t resist returning, especially for the house-made bread basket and that sour cherry-rosemary focaccia.
We started with cocktails: my go-to Meyer lemon drop, and Jake’s Bloody Mary, which was made tableside (such a fun surprise). The bread basket and corn jalapeño fritters were the perfect start, and then came an unexpected treat, Big Martha’s Pierogies, sent out with a note that “Martha wants to make sure you try them!”.. so thoughtful!
For lunch, I ordered the Chicken Milanese, and Jake went with the steak sandwich. It’s traditionally served with arugula, but he swapped it for watercress after loving it so much at dinner last week.
Another exceptional experience at The Bedford! I’m already looking forward to the next visit.
Crazy to think that this will be our house’s 100th Christmas season. I took this photo a few years ago and turned it into a little painting for this year’s Christmas card.
This year’s Christmas village includes a starry night backdrop to add some depth. I hand-glued @swarovski crystals on some of the stars for a subtle sparkle. Still love using my @marthastewart48@qvc houses!
