@jhaneiscool and I eloped!!! We’ve felt married for a while, so we hopped down to City Hall and made it official. She is beyond my best friend, and I’m luckier than I can fathom to be her husband.
I’ll always post trailers. As a kid I’d get so hyped seeing a good trailer— the idea of teasing a premise just enough to draw one in is what got me interested in media. So I couldn’t be more proud to show off a great trailer for a great project. We had an amazing team for this project, who worked incredibly hard to give this story the structure and heart it deserved. I’m extremely proud of the talented individuals who poured their time and energy into this, and I hope they are too! This was my first opportunity to work as a post producer— definitely more to come!
It’s been pointed out to me that using social media rn after being silent for so long isn’t the best approach for dealing with my own understanding of racial equality and history. I plan on stepping away again so I can build my own education. Its important to promote black artists, activists and lives, but to simply follow a trend without knowledge can be dangerous. It benefits no one to support from a place of ignorance. I’m sorry and I’m learning.
