Had a moment to sit, sip a Dr. Pepper, and go over some of the photos and things in my phone from the last couple weeks of events and gigs and stuff. I remember trying to share this great clip of @hipshotnic@anthonycast97@feralflynn playing one of my old favorites at @spacecityvintagela the other day and I couldn’t get service in there. Anyway this what you missed if you didn’t catch them on their tour through the west coast. Hopefully see you boys down in OZ sometime soon. Stellar version by the way 👍🏼
On Sunday at Viva Willie Barry, Jordan Thomas and myself set out to make a quick little video for our socials. Within the recording of the song a small crowd of people had amassed and demanded an encore. What happened in the next hour was a complete and utter surprise. We ended up playing a surprise hour long set at in the vendor hall. We had a generous lady help us turn the camera on and off and I think we managed to capture most of every song we played in that hour. We even had some special guests get up and sing some tunes with us, but it all came to a halt when they closed the vendor hall for lunch and Willie and I had to run to hillbilly fest. Enjoy part 1 of our set and the original song we were supposed to record!
