My story…
My name is Anthony and I provide both in person and online training for people who want to be not just fit, but pain free and truly able to move well for the rest of their lives.
I was 16 when my friend’s dad looked at me, squeezed my shoulders and made fun of me because they were so small. In that moment, something clicked that lit an insatiable desire in me to grow. I started my strength journey doing P90 workout DVDS in my living room, in addition to reading every health magazine I could find. I learned as much as I could. This part has not changed - I’m still always learning.
Fast forward 20 years, I’ve tried, learned, and mastered many different forms of exercise as you will see in these pictures. From traditional strength training at Gold’s, Pilates, Yoga, kettlebells, calisthenics.. you name it I have probably done it. 😂 I didn’t just try it; I acquired certifications in all of these various styles of training.
After trying it all, what has become most important to me is moving well.
I found Functional Patterns in 2021 and my life was forever changed. After all the training and certifications I’ve acquired over the past 23 years, this style of training has proven to be the most efficient for both myself and my clients in not only sculpting your dream body but training your body to move well.
Through functional patterns training I have loved watching my clients blossom as they transform their mind, body, and how they view movement as a necessary tool on the inevitable path to old age… sorry, but someone’s gotta prep you for it! I happily take that job 😂😇

WE DID IT! less than 50 days out and we are down -25 lbs from Anthony and -13 lbs from Casey 💁🏻♀️
proud of us for committing to our macros & trusting the calorie deficit - feeling soo good going into our wedding 🤍
we started a deficit last month and this is everything we’ve been eating to be leaner for our wedding !!
🍣 mango salmon salsa bowl
🍗 roasted whole chicken w/ peas, mirepoix & potatoes
🥩 grilled steak, eggplant & zucchini w/ asparagus salad
🥗 green goddess chickpea salad over rice
🥦 grilled chicken w/ roasted broccoli & sweet potato
🍝 beef bolognese
🐠 air fried salmon w/ roasted brussels sprouts & broccoli
our guidelines:
✅ 1 source of protein
✅ 1-2 sources of fiber (veggies,)
✅ 1 source of carbs - sometimes this is just veg if we’ve had enough carbs during the day
✅ 1 source of fat (usually the olive oil we use to cook the food)
*the 10 lbs is our weight loss combined but as you know the scale is the least of our worries and we mostly focus on how pants are fitting us etc!!*
make healthy eating fun and it will become less something you dread and more something you truly look forward to 💕
normalize being a woman eating the same or more as your male partner!
because I have such a lofty carb goal right now sometimes I end up eating more carbs than Anthony at dinner. but you’ll see he ALWAYS eats more protein as his protein goal is very high 😂

since Casey has been at maintenance or slightly above, she’s been eating pretty much the same amount or slightly less carbs than Anthony, usually the same amount of veggies and Anthony usually does 2x the protein. details below-
