Character Culture visualizes relationships between radicals and characters, reinterpreting data from radical index dictionaries through the visual physical form of a traditional Chinese-inspired painting.
All Chinese characters are made up of a combination of radicals 部首(bù shǒu), which can be thought of as building blocks of Chinese characters. The Kangxi radicals（康熙部首 Kāngxī bùshǒu) are a set of 214 radicals commonly used to index characters in Modern Chinese dictionaries. Learning radicals can aid in writing and memorization as semantic or phonetic qualities of characters can often be denoted by it's referenced radicals.
