In 2022 image-generating AI was still primitive. I created these cables and circuits then, fascinated by how the technology struggled: imperfect, flawed, yet honest in its limitations. I saved these images as a document of when machines were more openly imperfect, waiting to release them when the technology evolved.
The original AI image has been modified by me with my limited editing skills, so just like the record, it’s an imperfect machine meeting an imperfect human.
✨ 2025 Year in Review — Chapter 3
Another glimpse of AI’M @labiennale
This year, we spent two and a half months in Venice, immersed in the process of creating, questioning our practice, and allowing the work to evolve day after day.
AI’M was not only shaped in the studio, but through a deep questioning of the realities we exist and evolve within — both virtual and material — and how we locate ourselves, as individuals, within this constantly shifting landscape.
