A while back I had the privilege of singing on Strictly. I can’t lie, I was quite nervous, and had a lot of songs/parts to learn as well as singing this cover “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith.
This song however received the most love and attention from me because it was the first song I sang out of the other 4 songs I did on this episode (and because it was difficult).
It was such a milestone in my career as a professional singer and opened a lot of doors for me. And so I am truly thankful to the people who took a chance on me, and got me involved with the show 😊. I am super proud of it and will never forget it!… hence why I am sharing the moment today.
