💜 £10,140 raised for PAPYRUS 💜
This year, our team came together to raise an incredible £10,140 for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, our chosen charity for 2025, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Across the year we’ve cycled, run marathons, baked far too many cakes, sold laptops, hosted auctions, taken part in quiz nights, and faced the Big Sleep Out. Every mile, every raffle ticket and every late night had one shared purpose: supporting a charity doing truly life-saving work.
PAPYRUS is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people. Through their confidential HOPELINE247 service, they provide vital support to young people who are struggling, as well as to those worried about someone else. Their work saves lives, every single day.
We’ve been honoured to work alongside PAPYRUS this year and to support a cause that matters so deeply. Mental health is something that touches every workplace, every family and every community, and PAPYRUS meets people at the moment they need help most.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, took part, organised events or cheered us on. This total represents commitment, compassion and a shared belief that we can make a difference.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together, and even prouder to stand behind a charity that does such important work 💜

A huge milestone to celebrate in the Answer Digital team this month! Please join us in congratulating Principal Technical Consultant, Tom Amos, on an incredible 5 years with us! 🌟
Tom joined us after a 14-year career in the NHS and dived straight into some of our biggest challenges, from the national pandemic response to now providing technical assurance for the Ministry of Defence.
His journey has been a masterclass in diverse and enabling consultancy.
We love his take on what makes our architecture team special:
"I love that we all know where we feel comfortable and we’re not afraid to stand up and ask the stupid questions in front of everyone."

Today, we’re celebrating Danielle, who joined us back in 2014 as one of the very first graduates of the Answer Academy.
From her early days as a full stack Java engineer to her role today as a Principal Technical Consultant, Danielle has built an inspiring career journey. Helping to shape programmes across finance, retail, and health, mentoring the next generation of Answer talent, and now a key part of the National Document Repository project, recently shortlisted at the HSJ Awards.
Danielle’s story is a true testament to the opportunities that come with curiosity, resilience, and an owners’ mindset.

We’re celebrating a brilliant milestone, Alasdair Kirby’s 4-year anniversary at Answer Digital!
Alasdair joined us back in 2021 through the Answer Academy, and in just four years has worked his way up to become a Senior Developer. Along the way, he’s made his mark on projects spanning: → Data migration for NHS Manchester → Migrating IIS applications to the cloud with Azure → Building a shipping service with USPS for an anonymous sexual health testing platform → Rebuilding legacy systems for HGV management
What makes Alasdair stand out is his “learn by doing” mindset, always eager to take on new challenges, share knowledge, and grow with every project.
From day one he’s embraced opportunities, whether it’s meeting clinicians independently as an Academy graduate, or collaborating with senior devs to shape innovative solutions.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find him climbing (a lot!), unless he’s reminiscing about his time as a clay pigeon champion or removing snakes and scorpions as an outdoor instructor in South Africa. 🐍

From carbon neutral to power positive! ☀️
We've taken a huge step forward in our sustainability journey here at Answer Digital. We’ve just installed 74 new solar panels to the roof of our office at The Mill, and the results are even better than we hoped.
Based on the data we're capturing, we're currently (in the sun), offsetting our energy consumption by 100%!
What does being "power positive" mean for us?
→ We're generating more clean electricity than we need to run the office.
→ That surplus power is sent straight back to the grid.
→ We're actively contributing to a greener, more sustainable local energy system.
This is a powerful milestone, and a tangible demonstration of our commitment to never standing still.
