👇🏻 Iv been doing them this way for awhile. This set in the photos is the first ones Iv really stretched a lot. I managed to make them two full inch’s longer. 4” axle with tie rod under a 28-34 style wishbone. Usually I use this to simply straiten the reduce the first radius at the base of the arm. Resulting in about an inch longer. If you search back in old postings there’s several examples of finished arm. ⤵️ Customers BIG DROP 32 axle Dropped 3.50” past stock This is the equivalent of a new 5 inch drop. It’s narrowed up to 47” at the kingpins. I don’t do these often for several reasons. There’s a danger of the ends splitting - the holes aways distort badly along with the beam ends. It’s a lot of extra work and some luck to make a five inch look good Additionally This axle had a bunch of trash welded on where it turns up next to the perch boss area that needed to be fixed.
