It felt like a dream when I was experiencing it and it still feels like a dream to rewatch!
Perhaps, it was the serenity of the water,
Or the enchantment of the whole atmosphere,
Slowly awakening and unfolding itself to the soft touch of the morning sun and gentle breeze.
I know I wouldn’t be able to go back to this very moment but the beauty of Varenna in the early morning from a boat ride in Lake Como would always be special and something I would cherish forever.

Early spring spills golden light
across the shore, dancing slow—
a soft kiss upon the waves,
a tender reflection in the wisteria
swaying with every silk-soft breeze.
Through the ornate iron gate,
a century of history stands wide open
to this mesmerizing blue.
In that fleeting moment,
life finally mirrored the dream.
It felt like a movie I’d been rehearsing for—
a script I already knew by heart.
Let this be held:
a memory to remind me that
I believed in magic,
but mostly, that I believed in myself.

Before visiting Varenna, I saw so many reels of this specific Villa gate. I honestly wasn’t sure if it would live up to the hype or if I should even stop by—but I am so glad I did. I feel incredibly lucky to have caught this exact moment of Como magic. ✨
