Lately, Bollywood has churned out of a lot of remakes and made it into a trend, but if bollywood made remakes of this kind, I can assure you nobody will hate Bollywood or its remakes.
Also who other than @iamsrk can fill the shoes of Mr Amitabh Bacchan (@amitabhbachchan ), for this particular role of Don (& Vijay)
Watched both the parts back to back and to see an evolution in story telling, the way the script was modernised and adapted, yet kept the essence of the original, is what truly blows my mind.
Here's my take on Don (1978) vs Don (2006)
Cheers!

Being a Manchester United fan is tough, but Bruno deserves everything.
Truly one of the greats to play for this club!

I started this reel as a project for my company. As I commenced my research and explored Dharam Ji's work, I always knew he was a legend but never really understood his greatness. This reel allowed me to really understand what and who a Superstar actually is.
This reel is an ode to one of the biggest Bollywood superstars.
Life In A Metro x Nayan Tarse (Dev D)
The idea came from me travelling in a local and listening to Nayan Tarse, and I thought this would look good.
Lo and Behold here it is.
Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers!

This city full of chaos,
People try to navigate
In it they find poetry
To help them live.

Finally a journey comes to an end. The 4 years of work, fun, movies all comes to a beautiful finish. These years have been nothing more than a rollercoaster, to waking up on a good note just for the spirits to be broken down by a power cut at 9:30 am, almost everyday. To the really fast rides on the scooty because I was late but then just to stop and eat at Shambhu's because khaali pet kon jaayega. To the everyday dillemma of where to have lunch, save money eat cheap or YOLO it at Krushnai. To the post lunch naps that always hit like crack (till date) and the 3:30 pm college ka chai. Shaam ka paratha place ka compulsory visit and To all the lazy dinners of dal rice and (DK ka whiskey). Its been a grueling journey but the one I have nurtured the most, made so many friends and met so many strangers who are a part of my life now. I would always be grateful for this place to allow me to grow, to showing me the deepest of low's and giving me the opportunity to reach the highest of high's. Finally, the things in this college will never change, but it allowed me to be a better person and I'll always cherish this chapter of my life, as something close to my heart. Thank you for everything, my parents, my friends and MIT-School of Film And Theatre.
Musafir x Sea, Breeze, Bombay
"Everyone is a traveler in Mumbai"
Another video, a new addition to this series. This time I have used this beautiful piece of this music to create the image of the city with the beautiful song and it's heartfelt lyrics that hold so much depth and so much meaning. When I heard this song, it clicked me that Mumbai's visuals would do great justice to it and would allow me to explore people and how they feel when they're travelling, doing nothing but just waiting to get home. So much travelling and waiting at the mercy of a local train that doesn't care that whether it's empty or full. Doesn't this make everyone a Musafir, wanting to get home?

Shorelines Day 5 (31/3/24)
"IT'S A WRAP" I screamed, with a bit of excitement, a bit of joy, huge amounts of relief and an uncomfortable sense of emptiness that was going to linger around for a while.
It was finally over, the shoot we prepared for from months, all the hard work, all the joy, all the sweat, tears and a humongous amount if stress, it all came crashing in that instance, when we knew that this project, the hardest part atleast is over. Just a month ago, it was Shaksham's. shoot and we wrapped up and everyone was happy except him, I questioned him why, and now I know the answer because the look on his face, is the same look I had, me and Ritam both. At one time, as we were taking our last shot, I told him, I want to continue this shoot for 4-5 days more, just to not let it end. We both probably felt the same thing because this was for the time being the last time the whole crew that grew with me from Day-1 were working together on the project. Ritika had travelled all the way from Mumbai, just to assist. Natesh and Selva were here, Shaksham, Purva and Ritika are the best AD's I could have asked for.
Moments after wrapping up, I was there standing still, taking my own time to realise that it's finally over and it took a long time to realise that but all good things come to an end, and this was the best.
A film truly made by following my heart and with the people I love. The best experience and a stepping stone for all of us. I hope all of us grow to become something big and work together on a project once again, something much bigger than this.

I loved documenting this journey as much as I loved making the film. It was amazing!
Shorelines Day 4 (30/3/24)
Look who's finally smiling now.
This was the most packed day on shoot, we had planned 20 shots and had to cover spill from yesterday. I was actually not very stressed for this day, although my main concern yet again was the traffic noise as well as the amount of shots we had to cover but my talented sound guy. Oh how much trouble I have given him and more trouble to give in the post, but he did come through so well. That location was the heart of my film and he made sure it stays intact throughout the shoot.
Secondly I give all the credit to my actors, beautiful performance, we mainly had retakes only because of the sound or else the day would've been over sooner than expected.
My AD crew put their best efforts in, this is the only time Shaksham is sitting on the set, otherwise he was running everywhere. Ritika, Purva, Sahaj and Anoushka, all these really brought life to the set.
Finally Ritam's crew and the light boys, ain't nobody transitioning the set from a day setup to a night setup quicker than these guys.
As soon as the day ended, the whole crew was very happy because it was yet another location pack up and a very hectic shoot as well, only one more day to go and that excitement was present on my face as well, but for a moment there was a thought on how would I feel tomorrow after it's finally wrap up, and I had no answer to it, maybe I'll leave it to tomorrow and see but still the thought that it was finally ending was lingering on my mind. I thought, I'll have to wait and see. :)
