Scruffy is 1 year old in this first photograph. approximately. we don’t know his exact day of birth, but we acknowledge it as january 2002. that makes him 19 years old...
the other pictures are Scruffy current day, and with the exception of him being deaf now, he is a pinnacle of health & spry as ever. fetching. running up stairs. i’ve owned a lot of dogs and know what one looks like in the last year or so of it’s life. and the fact of the matter is Scruffy is obviously going to live til next january and probably the one after that. he’s just built different. #dog #olddog
