I used to think I needed the “perfect” camera or lens to create good work. But your vision, not your gear, is what people remember. Master whatever you have — better tools only amplify skills you’ve already built. 3. Networking Matters More Than You Think
Photography is a people-driven industry. The clients, models, stylists, and creatives you connect with today may open doors months or years later. Show up with good energy, be reliable, and build relationships — not just a portfolio. 4. Consistency Beats Inspiration
Waiting for inspiration slows you down. Shooting regularly — even on days you’re not feeling creative — is what sharpens your eye, grows your confidence, and builds momentum. 5. Rejection Isn’t Personal (Even When It Feels Like It) You won’t be right for every client, every project, or every team — and that’s okay. Every “no” teaches you something: improve your craft, refine your brand, adjust your approach. Thick skin and persistence will take you farther than talent alone.
