Happy 10th (!!) Gotcha Day to our first love @nalarosepuppy This little doggy has been with us through so many different seasons/chapters of life, and at the same time it feels like just yesterday that we spontaneously adopted her after love at first sight from @animalwellnessfoundation 💖 Nala has been a part of this family since my early 20s. She taught me how to love and take care of a living being as a young adult. Nala was lying on my mom as she passed away. She was there when we got married. And now, she’s the best big dog sister to Aili. Thanks for showing us that we were ready to become (human) parents, little girl. We love you, Nala!! 🥹

Welcome to the world, Aili Jill Sato 🩷 born March 4, 2026 at 3:35pm, weighing 6lbs 11oz, and named after her grandma Jill. Our lives are changed for forever, and we’re so grateful that our girl is here safe and happy 🥹☺️ we are already so obsessed with her, and she has already given our lives a whole new meaning. Mommy and daddy love you, Aili!! 👶🏻

As I look back on the past 9 months, they’re filled with days when I was proud of and inspired by how Ann faced every new obstacle, challenge, and change with such grace and bravery. I feel lucky, as I can’t think of a better partner to enter this new chapter with. I can’t wait to welcome our baby girl into this world together!! 📸 @jacq_justice
