Honored to have been referred by @theblcklst for official entry into the 2025-2026 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting! I didn't win but my mom said they probably listed me first because I got close (not because my name starts with an A). Academy members from all 18 branches read and evaluated the recommended scripts, including mine. If one of my readers was Paul Mescal, please call me.
Some things lately:
- I was recommended for a screenwriting fellowship, joining Cynthia Erivo and No Other Choice in being unrecognized by certain voting film bodies this year
- I was also a finalist for a screenwriting lab and wrote a lot
- Sleight of Hand, a feature I wrote, is currently projected to next year in the UK
- Mickey wore a sweater and separately, my friend J wrote a poem about him
- I am nice, friendly, and again available for gainful employment and would welcome any leads on that
8.5 years at atlantic records and it's a wrap!!! Bittersweet but feels good to leave the party at last call. So many wins and losses - I did not think Boss Bitch would be doja cat's lowest charting single (& still do not in a true and just world) but was also probably responsible for like 80% of the streams of Pink Pony Club in 2020, and have been a #brat since Pitchfork gave Vroom Vroom a 4.5. Will miss all of the amazingly talented people I worked with, but most of all the handsome union Wicked stagehands on smoke breaks I walked past/fell in love with on the way in to work (we never spoke). Not sure what's next for me (except for edits on my music industry teleplay) but so excited to see what's next for you all! Keep in touch (and hmu if you hear of any operations jobs that might make sense for me!)!!
