The Bowl
…
A day, if a day could feel, must feel like a bowl.
Wars, loves, trucks, betrayals, kindness,
it eats them.
Then the next day comes, spotless and hungry.
The bowl cannot be thrown away.
It cannot be broken.
It is calm, uneclipsable, rindless,
and, big though it seems, fits exactly in two human hands.
Hands with ten fingers,
fifty-four bones,
capacities strange to us almost past measure.
Scented-as the curve of the bowl is-
With cardamom, star anise, long pepper, cinnamon, hyssop.

I must confess, I am slightliy obsessed with frogs.
And even more so, knowing that the frog spiritual meaning evolves heavily around transformation, cleansing and abundance.
As creatures that transition from tardpoles to adults, they symbolize profound personal metamorphosis and emotional growth.
Their connection to water represents purification and the release of old emotinal patterns, to make way for new beginnings.

Yesterday I went to see Olivier Saillard’s performance, Les Vêtements de Renée with Axelle Doué @bozarbrussels
This morning I am still under its spell.
I was moved, touched, transported by this moment of pure poetry. Like a stolen moment in this world that has lost all meaning. It gave me faith in grace, tenderness, gentleness and so much more.
Merci! @oliviersaillard

I uncovered a precious moment in my Memory Box.
Jewellery and Metal, Royal College of Art, London.
Picture taken by my dad in 1995.
He was so proud of me…
I am grateful to him for allowing me to study there.
